Experience

I earned my B.A. in History and English from the University of Notre Dame, where I also pursued a minor in Medieval Studies. I received Honors in History and English during my time at Notre Dame, and I completed two theses. I'm presently enrolled in Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business, where I'm working on a graduate degree in Business Management. I'm also enrolled in law school. I've tutored a broad range of subjects, but I'm most interested in Literature, History, English, Writing, and Reading. I've worked with students to prepare for the SATs, ACTs, IBs, and history-related AP exams. I've also helped students with study skills, essay-writing, and editing. I enjoy stimulating students' creative sides, which is partially why I love to teach Writing. I encourage student participation, and I make a lot of space for students to voice their interests in class and in their written work. I've traveled widely, having visited Russia, France, Spain, China, Ireland, and England. In terms of what I enjoy outside of teaching, I cook, bake, and read. In spite of my love of cooking and baking, I enjoy fitness. I am really into yoga and Pilates.
